In the home, especially a shared home, the room is a space of solitude and escape. But what if that room is shared with a significant other? The project examines three scenarios looking at the room first as a shared partner space, then at two extremes, with the second series adding an additional couple to the room, and lastly examining the room with the removal of a significant other. The scenarios are viewed from three scales starting zoomed out showing the shared spaces in the house, zooming into the bedroom, and finally zooming towards the side table, the space of the individual. The side by side comparison zooms to the individual tables next to the bed.
