The culinary institute located on the University of Texas at Austin campus looks to celebrate and display the culinary talent of the students. A large public ramp winds through the building, encourages students and community members from both within the school and outside of the school to meander and watch the culinary students as they work. So often university buildings are isolated from the other parts of the school and community, however public programs scattered throughout the building aim to break that mold and have interdisciplinary interaction all centered around cooking.
